Exeter Round Table’s annual firework extravaganza returns

Exeter Round Table’s annual firework extravaganza returns for its 40th anniversary, in support of Devon Air Ambulance.

Devon Air Ambulance is delighted that Exeter Round Table has once more chosen to support the charity with this popular event.

This year, the spectacular pyrotechnical display will be synchronised to the music from the Greatest Showman when it returns to Westpoint Arena on Saturday 4th November.

The display, hosted by Radio Exe, will feature fireworks set to the popular musical by Sonic Fireworks, the 2022 British Champions! Not only that, but the spectacle also promises fun for the whole family with funfair rides, various catering outlets, and licensed bars.

This event will support Devon Air Ambulance’s lifesaving 365-day a year service by attracting visitors from the local area and beyond.

Jo-Anne Rigby, Head of Fundraising at Devon Air Ambulance says: ‘It is so wonderful to have another year’s partnership with Exeter Round Table which has been such a wonderful support over the years. This event brings everyone together for such a special, fun occasion, whilst raising money to keep our crew responding!’

‘We are tremendously grateful to Exeter Round Table for supporting us through this event, and to all our supporters who come along to enjoy the fireworks as well as the many volunteers who help with the planning, preparations, and marshalling. We hope everyone has a lovely evening at this year’s 40th anniversary event.’

This year, organisers have introduced a tiered ticketing system which aims to improve efficiency and make it easier to access the venue on the day. There are a limited number of discounted ‘Shuttlebus’ tickets for attendees travelling to the event by bus; the next level of tickets is for those being dropped off or travelling by taxi, and finally, a car parking ticket for attendees who wish to travel by car.

To support the demand for car parking at Westpoint Arena, Exeter Round Table has also teamed up with Stagecoach to provide a frequent shuttle bus service from both Sowton and Honiton Road Park & Ride locations.

An Exeter Round Table spokesperson said: ‘We are delighted to support Devon Air Ambulance once again with this exciting event. This year we have worked hard to ensure that getting to and from the venue is sustainable, easy, and affordable, that is why we have introduced a tiered ticketing system, and we look forward to seeing the benefits of this in action on the night!’

Tickets for this charity event are limited and only available in advance; once sold-out tickets cannot be purchased on the gate.
