Santas on a Bike 2026: Festive Charity Ride to Visit South Molton
Get ready for a spectacular festive sight as hundreds of Santas on motorbikes arrive in South Molton on Saturday 12 December 2026! The popular annual charity ride will travel from Asda Taunton to Little Bridge House Children’s Hospice in Fremington, North Devon, raising vital funds for Children’s Hospice South West.
The event promises Christmas cheer, impressive decorated motorbikes and a heartwarming opportunity for the local community to support a very special cause.
Hundreds of Santas Set to Ride for Charity
Santas on a Bike brings together motorbike riders from across Devon, Somerset, Cornwall, Dorset, Avon, Wales, Gloucestershire, the Midlands and beyond. Riders dress as Santa Claus, elves and reindeer, transforming the journey through the beautiful countryside of Somerset and Devon into a colourful festive spectacle.
The 2025 ride attracted more than 270 motorbikes and over 300 festive riders. This year, the organisers are looking forward to another memorable day of fundraising and spreading Christmas joy.
All riders are welcome, and the event is a wonderful example of the motorcycling community coming together to help children and families who need support.
South Molton Festive Stop-Off and Mayor’s Fundraiser
One of the highlights of the ride will be the festive stop in South Molton town square, where the Santas on a Bike are expected to arrive from midday.
The stop-off will form part of the Mayor’s Fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West, giving residents and visitors the chance to meet the riders, admire their creatively decorated motorbikes and enjoy a lively Christmas atmosphere.
Entertainment and refreshments will be available, while South Molton Town Band will perform festive tunes in the square. Visitors can also explore the Christmas Market at South Molton Pannier Market, making this a lovely opportunity for families to enjoy a festive day out.

Supporting Little Bridge House Children’s Hospice
After their South Molton stop, the riders will set off on the final leg of their journey to Little Bridge House Children’s Hospice in Fremington, North Devon, to greet the children and bring them some extra Christmas happiness.
Children’s Hospice South West provides vital care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. The Santas on a Bike ride helps raise funds for this important work.
The organisers state that all donations go directly to Children’s Hospice South West, with no money taken for expenses.
